My well known 8MHz Z80 cartridge for the Commodore C64 in a cartridge compatible board format, smaller but just as powerful!
Meanwhile many PCB layout programs are able to create wonderful 3D renderings of the PCBs. For my boards I draw all 3D models myself. And some of them I have already made available for download.
Here now the promised 2nd part about a new system board for the floppy drive VC1541 from Commodore. A complete redesign and the merging of different projects into a new controller board was my goal.
There are always situations where you need a different kernel for your Commodore C64. Either to test something or because you don’t want to open the computer. And so I had the idea to build such a small plug-in card myself. And for a simple mdoul, it doesn’t even need many parts.
